The Interpreters Division of ATA
http://www.ata-divisions.org/
The Interpreters Division of the American Translators Association. We are the communicators between two different languages. We are the bridges between two different cultures. We are the solutions, which allow two parties to exchange ideas and achieve their goals. We are the thread that connects people. We facilitate understanding.

Through the Interpreters Division, our aim is to achieve both validation and support for interpreters. The validation will be that this is a profession based on training and experience. Not all bilingual people can be interpreters. But all interpreters must be bilingual and bicultural. This division will provide support for interpreters through networking and information sharing. This division will work to improve the public relations information about this profession within the American Translators Association and around the world.

Fluent - Interpreting Services
http://www.fluentls.com/
Communication. Its more than a word or a phrase. Its more than a noun or a verb. Its a combination of thoughts and feelings expressed through voice, gestures and/or written symbols. Successful translation requires understanding and comprehension of the actual intent of the idea beyond the words. And that adaptation must make use of language that is meaningful for diverse audiences.
So, at Fluent Language Solutions, we do more than convert content. We understand and translate the words into the mindset and culture of the audience; whether its written or spoken language or the unwritten, gesture translation of sign language. In the end, what we do is help people understand each other. From our offices in Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina, Fluent provides language services in more than 180 different languages to clients all across the United States. We offer an industry-leading set of comprehensive interpreting and translating services.
